My near death experience!

Let me tell you about my near death experience yesterday.  I'm shooting the interior of this lovely cabin (below).  You see that ladder...I climbed up it with my gear...I'm solo...no assistants...no nobody!  Tripod, camera, light stand, light...I get it up there safely...including myself.  I get situated upstairs...and start shooting.  Long story short (look at the image to the right)...I almost backed off of the ledge b/c I wasn't paying attention.  The crazy thing is...the cabin is well secluded...I was alone...and I had no cell phone reception.  I would have been screwed...but thank God, I live to shoot another day!

Papaya Living Ashland!

Here's a little collage of the interior of Papaya Living. Papaya Living has been around for 7-8 years...they distribute internationally...and luckily for us Ashland folk, they opened shop in the plaza a few months ago!

Typically I don't shoot interiors...nor care to...but for Julie-O...I'll do just about anything!

Interior photography is kind of tedious...and not very exciting........at least I initially thought that way. But now, I'm liking it! It's getting more and more fun...I'm excited about some of the photos...and I'm finally using that way over priced Manfrotto tripod! Julie designed this room (yup, this is the same room)! That game table is kick ass!
